Dr. Gao Ziyang
Director of ASTRI's ICS/3DI Department, leading a technical team working on the development of the 3rd generation semiconductors and 3D integration technologies for Smart City applications, such as data centers, 5G telecommunication, industrial control and AGVs. Dr. Gao received the B.S. degree from the University of Science & Technology of China (USTC) and the Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2005. He is currently the Chairman of the Power Electronics Branch of the International Conference on Electronic Packaging Technology (ICEPT) and a technical committee member of IEEE’s International Technology Roadmap for Wide Bandgap Power Semiconductors (ITRW). He has published over 30 international journal & conference papers and holds over 40 patents in the United States and China, with 5 Gold and 2 Silver Medals in the International Exhibition of Inventions at Geneva.
